 I have ben a guest for long enough and findly joined the board. I was wandering how many of the members are weekend warriors? and how many hunt for a living?

I  did not mean to offend any body.        I work for a livestock and wildlife protection association covering about 50,ooo acrs on a salary full time.  I was wandering if any body else had the same situaition.

I dont hunt for a living but I aint a weekend warrior either.  If I had the money back that I have spent on dogs and all that goes with them for the last 30 yrs I could retire and bam all my money worrys would be over and then I could hunt for a living .  LOL

I sorta do I work at a game ranch full time.  Guiding tending deer etc.  But as far as hogs I am a weekend warrier so to speak because of work and home.  Try and go as much as possible but that sure don't seem like much lol.

dont do it for a job but seen as im 'e self employed with staff and own several farms i guess im"e still getting paid while i hunt

So what do you actually get paid for, trapping hogs amd yotes with snares or do you have to do other things like set up skunk traps under millionaires guest houses??  It cant be hog hunting with dogs on hogs are there would be no hogs on the 50,000 acres you are hunting on right???  Sounds like another TV show in the making to me???

Big preadators only.  My ranchers do not all connect they have plenty of places to lay up and breed.  There is a never ending supply of hogs.  I hunt with a man who swears he almost had them all cleard out in the 60's and 70's.  May be I need to hook y'all up.  Knightstock.

i dont think i could by boot laces from the profit if pig huntin. between gas ,dog food, wear and tear on everything so on,& so on my wife says it cost me about 10k a year. how many hogs would u have to sell to get that back. u guys that got managing jobs on ranches  about as close as it gets to getting paid to hunt.
