After working some pups this morning I got fired up and decided to try my luck in the rainy weather tonight, so I called up Cole Davis "badboar30". Him and another buddy Bo brought down some dogs (coles duece, and rebel, and Bo's heidi and cd coon). Me and Cody loaded up Tiger, dixie, and cd tyson. We headed to woodson just a little after dark.

Turned out all 5 bay dogs and started easing toward one of the feeders when we heard duece open up I think around 160 yards and by the time all the dogs got there and got this hog stopped they were around 300 out into dome thick country with lots of cactus...after hearing.g all 5 dogs hammering down real good we knew we had a good one so we decided to send the catch dogs from 130 out and they went and caught right in a big patch of jumping cactus...I legged the hog gave Cole the knife a flipped him over just enough for Cole to get a good stick on him withthe k bar and seal the deal

might say I prayer for my dixie dog who took a good poke in the stomach and lost a lot of blood and not doing to good as of right now...

Looks like a heavy hog. I'm sure glad we don't have much cactus here, just a few pricly pears, man I hate pulling those things out.

Thanks guys. Dixie seems to be doing a lot better. She is a tough old girl so I'm sure she will pull through

Jdjp your right about it being a heavy hog..I bet of went every bit of 275 and probly more. He was real long
And tall...biggest shoulders I've seen on a hog in a long time
