Well here it is, I was with Cody oates, adkinstx, ol ted, and lvhunter. Wanted to keep dog numbers down so w took one sure enough strike a couple help and kept my really rough dogs in the box with the pits. we went and hit a spot on the san Antonio river by braunig lake, at first things were slow due to the land owner deciding to come along( after he had a few) leading us while we road them. He was going faster then are dogs like. 10mph faster and stopping constantly and killing the truck. I got frustrated and dropped out yella, a longer range one out type dog so the buddy and the others would change up their hunting. Well that's all it took. Buddy, Cody oates strike rolled out with him and broke off to the right of him about 400ahead of us by a tank. We get a little closer and buddy goes to hammering at about 350 out on what was a good size pack. I drop two more to them and and start walking the pits in. On the way there about 70 yards ahead of we here my huck dog barking along with my little 5month old red cur pup and codys dog oso followed by a short fight and heavy footsteps headed our. Here come a 300lber running right by us with no dogs behind him. Lvhunter cuts codys(his brothers pit loose right behind him. First time and woods! That pig hits the brush and Thor hits him, Cody let Skillet his other pit go and they were caught! Lvhunter legs him and I stick him. He had 3inch cutter on both sides one of which we broke off halfway.might have gone 4 before. we get everyone called back except buddy who is .9miles away and adkins tx help dog penny who was on her way to buddy we guess. We get to 400 and here him barking. Get to 200 I let yella out along with everyone else that was gritty. All is silent....we get to 90 and yella is there. We hear a squeal and Cody yells something that turned out to be cliff. I climb down to see yella my pup cletus and penny caught in a cave. Cody sticks him and we pull the dogs off. Never let Skillet go. All dogs got cut except buddy and penny.Thor got Thor and yella were the worst but th nothing major. Now I gotta find the pics and post them
