went to feed dogs yesterday afternoon, and found my shamus and cam dog both DEAD. both these dogs are APBT and on seperate ends of the yard.
both dogs had the wicked chits and had been vomiting everywhere!!! both dogs where stretched out and had mouths full of mud. Im not sure what happened but i feel like some sorry SOB killed my dogs!!!
all my dogs are kept in a staright roll down one fence line that joins the neighbors yard. the old ladie next door live`s in dallas and does`nt come down much. the man that live`s behind us is a prick sometimes, but has never threatned my dogs in any kind of way. he has called the cops on me for letting my pups bay a pig in a 2 acre pasture. and i knocked him out his flip flops once before while he was drunk and being an A$$HOLE.
i raised these dogs from puppies. i bred shamus with with bluegirl gyp and she is in the kitchen have`n pups right now. she just gave birth to the 3rd pup. all 3 are blue.
i called the sheriffs dept. and there looken into it. any ideas as to what might have happened. i really hope my neighbor is not to blame, cause if i ever find out for sure it will be his neck on the line.
just seems like someone singled out my male pits and done them in. and if all that was`nt bad enough we had to lay my great uncle to rest monday before this crap. i hope my week gets better then this.

Man sorry to hear that. Sounds like cyanide of some sort. It burns their mouth which would explain the mud. Get law to check around that stuff is not real common.

A quick autopsy from any vet will narrow it down real quick,the sooner the better.

sorry to hear man.. couple of wks ago someone poisened my blue pit also... had her since she was 5wks old and she just turned 3 the wk she died. hope u find em

brian i guess im on the look out for a new CD till these pups are old enough! i may have to tag along with you guys sometimes. them yella pups are doen well, i had one that slipped through the kennel and crawled about 40 yards and got one of it`s back toes cut almost off. i went ahead and took it on off any ways. i`ll post some pics of them here soon for u to look at.
Tmatt i dnt count on the 50 for much of anything but i hope they can help me out this time.
jon sorry to hear about your dog. i feel your lost.
dont get me wrong i love all my dogs, but shamus was my best buddy. loosen that dog was hard as hell. i wish they could have went out on a big nasty instead of some BS.

Sounds like rat bat in hamburger tossed in yard, had exact same thing happen once, sorry about your dogs. |
