went to court today, Judge found in my favor....... 2 1/2 months ago i bought 2 dogs from T.W.  on two week trial.  dogs were crap were sold as finished jam up dogs. he would not return my calls  also the drivers license he showed me, the ADDRESS WAS NOT CORRECT. iT MUST HAVE BEEN FAKE .I guess that way  I couldnt find him or serve him for court.....i did a    google search      for him and figured out he lived in Burleson tx   not   wichita falls tx.  like i was told  and his D.L. showed,   judge awarded me my money and court cost ..........did not award loss wages or kennel fee for 74 days.

BEWARE  i bet these dogs will be for sale again!!!!!!

Have you seen the money yet?  Or will he just have a judgement against him?

Either way, not knowing the details, I am glad you prevailed over what appears to be a dog trader.

Did you win bt default or did he show up??  Shame the judge did not adjourn the trial to a ranch full of hogs and settle it in the woods.  Default judgements can not be eaten, the filing fees and agravation factor must be high on these deals, thats a shame you could have notten a refund and save the hassle.  I heard a guy the other day swear a guy sold him rescued yellow black mouth curs from rescues as a pack, I thought to myself, blackmouth cur rescue??  Went and looked and they had about 15 yellow dogs listed as yellow curs needing rescueing from shelters in texas florida etc, gees, 99 per cent of them were just grade yellow dogs mostly crossbred somethings, but what the heck, he caught hogs with them and ran deer and cows and was happy, prob not a bad idea to search rescues for hog dog prospects, i bet they have catahoulas, curs, lacys etc, i saw about 100 rat terriers on the rescue site, had no idea there was such a thing.  All of them are hea;thy and vet checked and like free or $75 bucks or something.  Could you go into anydetail about what you bought and what you got and how the alleged scam operated so others can beware of similar scammers??

If the guy loaded the dogs in his car then he was there and not default.

Depends, he could have picked them up any time, it does not say???  Just curious what the other guy claimed about the dogs not working??

Just curious how or did you have to prove that the dogs weren't what he said they were? I wish I could get all the money I have payed for dogs that weren't what the seller said they were. Pm if you don't want to post it.

i didnt have to prove they hunted or not  i bought them on trial       trial means if you dont like them for any reason, you should be able to return them.  i believe the reason it is not that way is sellers not honoring their word and buyers trying dogs with no intent on buying..  when i was alot younger we would go and act like we were going to buy a car so we could TEST DRIVE THEM then they started going with you...took all the fun out of it.   when i bought Jack from Brandeek1 he said if there anything u dont like  his bark or whatever he has a home here  Brandeek1 lives in houston  i bought Jack site unseen...then had Muleman bring him to me...i had never meet him...sometimes just by talking u get a sence that someone is honest.................i never had that feeling on this deal,   ive loss money and bought cull dogs before and just ate it and moved on....im nortictorus for buying HIGH and selling LOW, but im tired of it i wasnt going to give up on this  we need to hold people accountable and quit eating it, it taste alot like _ _ _ _ and im tired of it!!!!   also it was the same amout i gave for Jack and Ghost  and that my friend PISSED ME OFF               Jim

That's funny!!! You must of payed alot of money
for them dogs and not turn out to be what the guy
said they were!

Alot of people might just sell them with out a trial now
because they aren't going to want to go to court!
Welcome to the dog trades!

With the Internet you can find anybody in this world
Now! Still laughing and cracking up!!! Too funny!

I don't understand how people can purchase a persons best
strike dogs and claims they do this, finds this, bays this,
And catches that, but yet that person is still hunting and
were still waiting for that dog to do what he says it does!!

I would sell my four wheeler, my garmin and my gear before
I get rid of a good strike dog!

Not many people out their would sell good finished dogs unless
they are realy getting out of it or has family problems.

I know two people in this hog dog world that has a good bloodline
of dogs and one guy doesn't really hunt but still knows were his best
dogs are at! And the other won't sell a puppy to anybody but if
your one of his friends he will give you 1 and won't even faze him
because he's a man of his word and you got to be the same! I known
him to give his buddy his best dog on the yard and didn't even
think twice!

Stay away from strangers that's  what my momma told me growing up!!!!

I have to say that when we sold Jack, he was one of our best strike dogs. Now he fits with Jim.  Was nothing wrong with him n we told him that. He ranges FAR and don't quit. Honesty is not common any more and that's a damn shame. Glad u like  him Jim.

That is the same thing with Ghost He was by far one of the best dogs on my yard I was just moving my pack in a different direction. That being said it makes me extremely happy to hear old Ghostess turned out for Jim.

At least you know if you get it in writing that it is a trial the court will enforce it Grin

I had a guy call me this morning about two males i have for sell and he offered to trade me a finished redbone for both. Supposedly jam up, then I said let's hunt him and mine like it says in the ad and click nothing and no call back. It's happened a good dozen times since Ive put them up. I even had one guy try and tell me he had a bad gyp that won't work with new dogs at all even if I put her on sign. I said Nvm thanks anyways and he got mad? told me I was being cocky and that I had what he needed but i was making it impossible to make a deal, this went back and forth until finally I said bring your pack and we'll run mine seperate. All he said was f*** you and hung up lol. Am I asking too much?  Huh? If you could pm me any info you have about tw that would be great

I thought about it, maybe I am asking a little much. I figured if we put just my two on the ground and they strike a pig then that should be enough and same for his dog but maybe I am expecting too much. Thanks for the heads up
