Man we were camped on the river to do a little duck hunting. We got up bout 5 and headed out but there were guys that came by at 3:30am headed to a blind. I like duck hunting but I've never been that mad at em. That's 330 in a boat and we were 15 minutes from the dock so they prolly rolled out of bed at 230 245 in the morning. I told my buddy if I ever get crazy like that just go ahead and shoot me.

I am an avid duck hunter, mostly becuase we dont have hogs here in Kansas yet.  But it does take a special kind of nut job to get up that early to sit in 14 degree weather.  Last year I had my dads old troutfishing waders that were uninsulated and had holes in them.  I would be sitting in 20 degree weather with 6 inches of water in my boots plumb stupid if ya ask me.  The first thing I bought was a nice coat and a good pair of insulated waders, and they sure do make it a lot more enjoyable.  It is an awesome sight though when you have a whole bunch of ducks or hundreds of geese cupped and about to land in your decoys.  The really good days keep me going.  Good looking lab in that picture too!  I needa get me a retriever

I have been duck hunting one time in my life and that was enough for me. It was pretty exciting action watching the birds fly in and all though. But I dont do cold and wet. I can do cold, or I can do wet, but put the two together and I'm out.

I'm not a duck hunter, but to get out of work
for the day "show me the way"!! Good load
of ducks! What's the best way to cook a duck?
Alot of people told me to wrap it with bacon
stick it in the oven for a bit when the bacon
looks done just take the bacon off and "throw
the duck away and eat the bacon!!!! Never tried
it before.

Paul wrap an onion a sliceof seedless jalapeno and a duck breast in bacon and sprinkle some Tonya on it. Cook it on the pit. Don't get much better than that.

Good duck hunt.
