Am I the only person that thinks them showing that dog get cut and layed out on the vet table is something that does not need to make it to NATIONAL TV!!!!!!!!

Haven't seen that particular episode, but it's really not even an entertaining show to begin with, now their showing dogs cut up? Way to go!! I hope yall are getting paid well for more fuel to end up burning this sport up

Honestly I think all those shows are retarded...American Hoggers, Lady Hoggers, and whatever the others are called...American Hoggers is half way entertaining just because the old man is funny. But the sporting aspect that most of us are into this sport for is way missed on all of the "reality" shows.

That was the first time I have watched a full episode. It is terrible. Possibly worse than hogs gone wild. Showing the dog get cut and having him lay lifeless in the bed of the truck is terrible. It could have been staged like the rest of the show but concept is despicable.
Not to mention neither hunter had a vest on the catch dogs. The dog that showed like he was dieing had something on....looked like a napkin...wouldn't cover a poodle. I think that show is the most damning yet.

They lead in a single cur to catch and the dog gets worked over. It was edited some but end result he throws the dog over his shoulder and taking him to the vet. Shows him in the bed of the truck like he dieing. There was a fat hispanic guy too...same thing. Sending catch dog in with no protection. The story lines and talking they edit in is ridiculous. |

It was pretty stupid, glad his dog lived, I guess that dog is a cur or cur/pit mix? and 11 years old and he's the one doing the catching? wow, grow some brains, get more (and younger dogs) to do the dirty work...the dog being 11 tells me he is obviously good, but why put him in a situation like that?
My daughter flipped the hell out this morning when I was watching it, saying "is the dog gonna die?" Like I'm sure people did all across the country, definately puts a black eye on the sport.

Ya i thought the same thing last night for sure all he puts on them dogs is a damn strike vest that dont ever protect the gut area at all! but we all know dogs will get cut every now and again but you can atleast get something that will protect a catch dogs body and it should have not been on tv
