Well i dont post many hunts but this one was a special occasion
. Took famous people hunting
. (Sorry he asked to remain annomous for good reasons) But it was a great hunt and they are really excited and already called to go agiain saterday
. We started and never knew it would be this tough in a high fence, but it was and the dogs hunted hard and finially heard Missy and Lucy baying well they would bark and stop like they were open trailing
but as we stood there and waited we saw bout 10 shoats running everywhere so we lead poncho over there to catch one to get going and he wanted to play with it
. So we got that one caught while lucy and missy started baying harder so we figured they got on a good one well we got there and it was another shoat. So we loaded up and gave the dogs a rest and headed to the back of the lake and cut loose right off the bat missy and lucy and sadie and some other mutt jake
. Headed in the woods and we waited and waited and bout 10 minutes later FINIALLY a hard good bay and boy was the annomous person excited he was jumping in the road waving us on he was ready to go
, so we headed in there to see a BIG boar, txhoghunter knows which one we seen coming right at us and he tore off then another big boar ran the other direction and then we go into were the dogs had another big boar sitting on it butt
, so we sent in the finishers and they hammered the big hog and we got it stuck. Here is the hog we caught dont know what he weighed but he was for sure a goodin. Small cuts and tired dogs and happy hunter it was a good day and cant wait to go back.
