My female lacy every time I run her much she goes to limping on her back leg seems to be in her ankle or knee not her hip. Just started here lately and she is about 4.  This warrant a vet visit or just wait and see if just a fase she hurt it and it is healing.  Also give her a little shot of dex and she is running around the next morning. Any ideas
Thanks

might just be some joint inflamation from an injury where she jumped wrong or landed wrong..id keep an eye on it an if it doesnt get better soon(with in a week) I'd go get it looked at...when you rotate the joint do you hear a cracking or grinding noise? if you do she may have lost the cartilage in the joint so its bone rubbing bone(arthrites), or she has some bone splinters in the joint....hope she gets better!

Gave her just a little dex last night and good as new again today but if I run her hard again I bet money she will go to limping to no weight at all on it.  No grinding or anything like that.

I'm voting a trip to the vet,...this is the dog's running gear we're talking about. Might save her from some long term torment.

Yeah think that is what I am going to do thought maybe someone had delt with something similar.  Kinda weird how the dex makes her new in just a few hours.

You may want to have her patellas (kneecaps) looked at by your vet, they may be luxating. There are 4 grades and if that is the problem then she may need to have surgery.
