Watching a documentary on Feral Packs of dogs that are loose and threatening the northern inner cities populations. Was wondering how this could be possible until I witnessed the practices that were being utilized by the folks tasked to control the problem.

Build them sanitary shelters to avoid the packs living in disease ridden abandoned houses
Set up centralized feeding stations to contain the broad roaming of the packs
Catch for the purpose of Spaying/ Nurturing and then release back to prevent the pack from suffering physiological effects
Place medicated food scraps to attempt to provide health stimulus into the packs.

From the above practiced methods no wonder they got issues. In fact it looks like they are promoting it with health benefit.

I was thinking a box of cull deciders mixed with some common sense might help clean up Detroits lil puppy problem.

Thoughts?

The pussification of America in action. You feed em, give em medicine, and a place to live then wonder why they won't go away. This whole scenario is crazy.
Makes me think of some of the national parks and state parks talking about bringing in professional shooters to help control animal populations. Paid shooters. these same parks could charge fifty bucks for a permit and have hunters pay to fix the problem. Hell YBM sounds like we need to go round up some free range livestock in Detroit and export it to Korea.

Medicate them? What? You want them to live longer? Oh don't hurt their pack. Paying for this it is no wonder Detroit is broke.

Lil crazy my friends. Its was all centered around multiple attacks to humans by roving packs of feral dogs. Me personally I didn't see any problem that could not have been solved by a 30 pack, spotlight,  and a couple cases of ammo. But guess that's why East Texas doesn't have this issue. Hehe.  Cheesy

http://www.kittybeef.com/

there is probably some dumb ass law against selling for americans though.  I've eaten at restaurant where I saw a black fluffy thing getting chopped up on the table, and one that was caught with cat in the freezer, and at that same restaurant I once heard a cat squeal while eating inside, no BS.  I found the meat there unusually tasty, LOL.

I saw the black fluffy thing while walking down the back alley and the door was wide open.  It was Hunan Garden in Oak Ridge North many many years ago, and the other place was Woodlands House on the other side of the freeway years ago.

I've eaten at the woodlands house all through the mid to late nineties. It was always very good. Certain dogs are considered a delicacy in Asia. If they would stop medicating them these could be sold as free range and organic. Prolly triple the price per pound. Wink

Friend of mine told me about feral dogs out in the desert mountains of mexico preying on his friends ckicken farm. They provided chicken for tyson so alot money was on the line. They tried many things with not to much success.  We sent them two Bulldogs from our hines line that started cleaning house and the feral wild dogs started dropping like flies. Probably a little messy for an inner city solution.
