Loaded up bout 9 with Max, Bob, Scrappy and Biggun. Didn't know how good it was gonna be with Ely on the IR but had the pigs located so I figured I'd see what the youngun's could do. None of the dogs over 2 years old and a couple of em show it. Hit a spot we've been catchin' hogs at pretty regular and let the dogs do some business before we got going. Started hoodin' 'em and drove a few spots with a few maybe's but no strikes. Made the mile section and see some deer. Go about 75 yds past them and Max flies off the hood. I was really wishing I had my shocker when he went back towards the deer and then went 500 I was thinkin' the lil turd started back on deer after being worked off them for over a month. He starts striking and we send Bob and scrappy out but Bob is the only one that makes the back. get down by where they are and they are across a ruff ruff creek with Max and bob circling a grass pile baying their heads off. Get the bulldog to the bottom of the creek just to see the bay bust and have a nice spotted sow and a black pig scale the steep bank. Max is at 875 by the time I get out of the creek bottom. Bob goes to baying back where we just came from. Thinking one stuck back I go to it and send the bulldog. He goes up the bank then just comes back and looks at me. Bob still bayed I go to the other side and send him again. This time it's a squeal and they have a whole litter bayed. Looked maybe a few hours old. Let them be hoping momma comes back.

Go to another place and turn dogs loose. Makes goes 800 yds and is bayed solid. Start walking towards it and at about 400 Bob finally hears him and gets there to help. Get with in 80 and scrappy finally goes on in as I send the bulldog. 175 lb sow caught. Looks like she was ready to pop any day. Cut out the back strap and headed in at 2 a.m. Gonna hit them again christmas evenin' hoping to catch me a spotted hog
