Loaded up max, bob, and deisel and met Dusty E with a couple of guys and a kid of one of the guys. They had Kobey, Willy, and Dee. Got up by the river and turned all the dogs loose. Got down in the bottom and headed towards a spot that dusty caught a lil boar and got into another big boar but got away. Had plenty of dog power just in case. Headed down the tree line and the dogs go out ahead about 200 yds and start baying. We head towards them and hear them catch out and hog squeal. got with in 50 yds and don't hear nothin'. Then dogs go to baying again so we cut the bulldogs. After weaving and windin' thru the tall grass they hit the hog. I guess dusty tripped and I managed to be the first on to the bay and flip the hog. Get dogs tied back and I knew Kobey had a cut on the back leg. Look dogs over and willy had a cut on the opposite side of his cut from last week. Got a nice lil board killed and got the back strap. Staple up a couple dogs and head out. I met up with a couple other guys on the way back home. I had Max, Dee, and Bob. I throw max on the hood and drive towards a spot I knew of a couple big sows hangin' out. He flies off the hood and I dump dee and bob with him. they go the opposite way I was expecting and hunt out the ruff creek bottom. Start baying bout 150 yds off the road and I hear them catch out. I go on in and cross the creek. Had a bulldog on the way if I needed it. Bout the time I get there a lil 100 lb sow shook the 3 curs and if it wasn't for a log layed over I'd been in the pig riding but they catch again and I get the hog flipped and tied hoping to get her out alive. The easy way out was 500 yds to the road and couldn't cross the creek cuz of the steep banks so we cut her down and headed on in. Noticed Max got a poke from the first hog and deisel did as well. Got the dogs back and doctored up. Heck of a fun Christmas this year. Glad all the dogs are gonna heal up just fine.
