hey i post pics... well not of hogs but pics none the less sir plus nobody asks....  I want to see pics of you with your dogs and at least one hog in the woods ( not pen). There I asked.  SCHitemHard, how about a pic of those Catchdogs at work in the woods!!! Do you run both of those dogs together?? Do they catch ear?? |

more than welcome to show this picture tho it happened years ago Story here is i had 2 foxhound/curs corner this guy in a old hollowed out log and when i let a older porch pit go he couldnt hit nothin but the mouth so when he did the dog was being pulled inside the log with the pig. I was freakin out cause i was alone and didnt know what to do so i hooked the chain to the pit and locked him to the tree and began to dig a hole with my knife into the log to stick the pig. id say bout 15 maybe 20 mins after gettin a nice hole i finally saw blood and just began stabbing away. dogs pulled him out and got him home. my pop was worried sick but very proud, still have his teeth on a plaque.  and t. wilbanks i have no problem with anyone here but nobody makes me out to be a liar |

Hello Brothers,
I am a hog hunter from southeast Ohio. We have had feral hogs since 1998 when they escaped from a bankrupt hunting ranch. I have been hunting them 3 years and started using dogs as of march of this year when a guy dumped his trash on me. Here a few like 1 or 2 guys have finished dogs and wont take you hunting because we dont have many and a good hog dog here is like gold. You guys in Texas have had hogs for hundreds of years and have great dogs. Its real easy to put Matt down and call him out. He has been a great help cause I have bounced ideas off him and he has been supportive. It makes me a little sick to see him get trampled on when he is probably the most passionate hog man out there. He had to leave the south and come to Cleveland, Oh to make a living. Grow up.

hold on swish its cool  me and trent talked it over and shared some stuff so he understands. i dont wanna have nothin started on my account. I dont mind sharin my novel so everyone can understand cause ive had a few more people ask why i dont show pics. Back in high school i was in a club that were student hunters. Everyone would always wanna see my dogs and anything ive caught over the week so i would share stories and show pictures on the forum for the school and on my facebook. well there was a humane society for the school and they had a big program one day for the whole school about animal abuse and what not and i went thinkin it would be about strays and spay and neuter. well boy was i wrong they showed not one but three pictures of my dogs all bloody and cut up and a picture of my bulldog damnit killin a trainer pig in a pen. i was very hurt and embarassed due to the fact that after that everyone literally hated me. my tires were slashed one dog was poisoned and i was harassed to the point i had to leave the school and get authorities involved. after that i was very private about my stuff and who i hunt with. They ended up targeting a dozen guys i would hunt with at the school but the school supported them over us. |
