Had a good time yesterday after a two week break.

Gotta give it Clay's Jug dog, we was caught on that boar by himself for at least 15 minutes out in a pasture before Clay and Thomas got to him.

We enjoyed the hunt, probably one of the last cold hunts for a while. Having a little moisture on the ground sure helped things too.  Mandi got to hunt her new dog, Buck. She decided ole Buck is a keeper. Maybe a little rangier than we are used to, but it sure kept the hunt interesting Wink Just to make it official, she freeze branded him this evening along with the rest of the crew.

I don't have any pictures of the sow, shoat, or trapped boar from this hunt, but I will add one picture with our jr hog hunters...They are hitting the age where they not only enjoy the hunt, but they are also helpful on the hunt. One does a little driving for us, the other wants to be a  videographer.

cward,

I really couldn't tell you what that yella dog is, maybe Lavon could fill you in. Buck was his dog and we purchased him last week. I think he comes from stock from out in grapeland or something. This was our first hunt with Buck, and I have a lot to learn about him! I really like him as a dog though. My Lizzie dog is having surgery tomorrow, so it looks like I'm going to be depending on old Buck to make my contribution to the hunt for a few weeks.

Cheers!

Great Job Guys, and I like the new dog.  Post some pics of your other new ones when you get a chance.

Joey,

Here is a picture of the new catch dogs that Mandi is planning to pick up when she heads to Uncle Earl's in a couple weeks. She says, they should round out her pack nicely.

Nice hunt guys.  Glad to see jugg doing what he does.
Chris was buck part of that package deal you got in on?  I was curious to see how those dogs were turning out for ya.
