Went out to a good place Thursday night where pigs are always crossing and dumped 6 bay dogs on the ground. It had been raining the past two days so the ground was real moist. We drove about 100 yards and the dogs started acting real piggy. Josh's dog Red and my dog molly rolled out and about 5 minutes later Red was back. We kept driving and all of a sudden the dogs hauled butt to the left and we stopped the pickup. Molly was bayed a long ways off. We kept driving down to where we were even with her and got out to walk across the river. When we got out we couldn't hear anything but running water. Dogs started showing back up and eventually we had every dog back but Red, Molly and Josh's pup Rambler. Started driving again and the dogs hauled butt again so we stopped and Red and Rambler were bayed up about 400 yards in front of us. We got there and the bay dogs were caught on this mean little boar about 120lbs. Didn't have time for pics on this one because Molly never showed up to that bay and we had to look for her. I didn't have a tracking collar on her cause she was always good about showing back up. Yelled for a bit and when she never showed we threw a shirt out and headed to another place.

When we got to the next place we shined the pecan orchard and saw a boar about 180 lbs. break across the field. Dumped the dogs on his track and they got him stopped about a mile away down in a little river bottom. Sent Rocky in and he bailed off into the river and had him caught by the ear about 10 ft. down. None of the bay dogs would catch so it was just Rocky vs. the pig until we could get down there. Finally he wore the pig out enough for him to sit down and Cadillac grabbed an ear. I ran down and legged him and Josh stuck him.

Went out yesterday to another place some pigs had been tearing up bad and dumped the dogs on the ground. About 5 minutes later my Brutus dog struck. We ran in the brush about 100 yards and the bay dogs had this sow caught. She was between 180 and 200lbs.

Brutus

Red and Poncho rolled out one way and Molly and Brutus the other about 2 minutes later we heard Red and Poncho bay and then they were caught about 1/2 a mile away. On the way to the bay we saw 2 hogs about 180 run across the field hauling butt. Got to this pig and stabbed it and put the dogs back on the track of the pigs we saw cross the field. All the dogs hit the trail and about 10 minutes later Molly and Red were bayed. All the other dogs got there and we could just barely hear the pig squealing. About a mile later we could see the dogs headed back and they had already killed the pig. We never looked for him though because we were so tired. Ended the day with 3 hogs and 3 cut dogs.
