It seems that some type of curr or catahoula seem to be the dog of choice.  Has anyone hunted with blue heelers, or are they too short legged for long hunts?

A log time ago when I was younger I thought I would train dogs for people and a man sent me a blue heeler I hunted this dog for about 3 months he did love it and boy he would make a hog look at him he was fast through the brush a could stop one he would find one if you were right on top of the hog but I don't recommend the dog and I also learned don't train dogs for other people to get a finshed dog to make someone happy it take time lots of it
