Well the deer hunters finally cleared the H*ll out of the woods so Strikedog Kennel hollered at me at the last minute for a midnight round. We loaded up and went right down the road. All these Yellers were just as restless as we were so it didn't take long to get some pork located. Ole man of the woods "Smoke" owned by Strikedog rolled out hard and found him a big fat girl full of corn. All the Yeller youngsters made it to him and stretched her like a sling shot before the bulldogs arrived. Rolled off of her and ran two more for couple more hours but lost em in the amazon thickets of East Texas. Anyway good hunt and freezer full of sausage. Enjoy boys. Chance. "Strikedogkennel" with his paleface cull. Smoke. Couple of Youngsters with big hair in their teeth.

Here we go again with the name calling. Not bad for my set of "ditch mutts". Don't worry, if you keep hunting them there yeller blacks with my pack they might learn how to find a hog. Monty, the whole crew was wearing the p&p vests. I just got them in the mail last week. I really like the catch dog vest. First time ever that I can remember that the whole pack had on vests. This sow was caught before the bulldogs were turned loose.

What a great hunt on this second sow! Ran her about 2.5 miles. Smokey cold trailed off a corn feeder and went 200 yards up into a man eating green briar thicket and bayed. We opened the doors on the dog box and sent more bay dogs to the party. When the other dogs got to the bay the sow broke and ran. The first time she broke she ran a big circle, about 800 yards one way and then back, before Smokey found her again. We opened the doors again and sent the reinforcements to the bay only to have the hog break and run when the dogs arrived. The second time it broke bay the sow headed out straight and moving fast. The sow ran straight about 1 mile and then turned along a big creek. The sow would of got away, but the one thing she didn't plan on was that Smokey was still on her trail. The garmin showed him treed along the creek 1.2 miles away. We headed to him. Along the way we picked up the yeller blacks that were headed his way. We stopped at 500 yards from the bay. We left the bay dogs on the terex and we snuck in with the catch dogs to about 50 yards. The catch dogs didn't give her an opportunity to run. Great hunt.
YBM, you forgot to say that Smokey is the dog in picture with the russian sow. I hope I don't run the legs off Ol' Smokey trying to train those yeller blacks. I am very proud of my "pale face cull".

That is the reason I bought seat covers. I didn't see anything soft about putting a good dog in the back seat. The best get to ride up front. Those yellers had to ride in the back.

Chance glad to see your letting smoke show his stuff. I wondered why Myles wouldnt answer his phone today. Those pale face culls are priceless. . Mike were still waiting on deer season to end dad gum muzzleloaders and youth weekend, plus the MLD folks go to feb.

HEEEEEELLLLLL Nah. No daylight for me. Just had a close friend and a member of this board get his dog shot and killed from a daylight hunt yesterday. BAD BUSINESS BOYZ! The idiots are still sitting in stands with this BS extended season for certain clubs. I will let him tell the story if he chooses. Just everyone be aware!!!!
