Can somebody steer me in the right direction to find out if these new laws have passed regarding no hog hunting at night,im not taking about old laws,im talking mention of new laws in oklahoma that were passed due to tresspass that no hog hunting allowed at night and also one regarding hauling live hogs. Is a permit now required to haul from the woods to a buying station even if you dont cross state lines? I was told recently that all hogs must now be dead,i dont trust anything anybody says until i see it in writing but these laws will be the deciding factor wether or not i sell everything and get out completely, thankyou. I have looked at the ok.hunting guide sites and all they cover is deer, birds and other trash,no hogs. The texas laws will not do either,it must be a written oklahoma law.

Oklahoma department of wildlife ... Google it. You can hunt hogs day or night with dogs. Only during the day with guns. Yes u are supposed to have a permit to haul and store hogs I believe. You cannot recover your dogs on land u do not have permission on. You have to call the game warden and or landowner for that. You are supposed to carry written permission with you when you are hunting. That's all my game warden told me about it. But like I said you can check out that site and get your game wardens number. Got mine on speed dial

Can we hunt hogs at night with firearms? No. It is illegal to hunt hogs at night, except landowners can get a depredation permit from the State Game Warden in their county that will allow them to shoot hogs at night. Headlighting / Spotlighting No person may attempt to take, take, attempt to catch, catch, attempt to capture, capture, attempt to kill, or kill any deer, feral animal or other wildlife, except fish and frogs or except as provided by law, by the use of a vehicle mounted spotlight or other powerful light at night, by what is commonly known as “headlighting” (or “spotlighting”) or use any light enhancement device (night scope). Provided, however, nothing in this code shall prevent one from possessing a .22 caliber rimfire rifle or .22 caliber rimfire pistol and a light carried on his person while in pursuit of furbearers with hounds during the legal open furbearer season, while possessing a valid hunting license and fur license, unless exempt. Both From ODOW

I talked to the warden in osage county , he said they are giving spot light tickets to hunters at night on WMA with lights , and that knifes are not a legal means of taking a animal and not posted as such and they were not sure about that yet , the tourniment on the 18th and 19th has brought out these questions and has made it to oklahoma city to the top big wig at the wildlife dept ,Im sure a lot will be answered at the tourniment , I bet the wardens will be there , the warden said they have seen it on craigs list

You can not hunt wild hogs at night anymore. Game warden had meeting on the issue yesterday. and as far as transporting u do have to have a transporters license and they have to be going to a holdin facility.

these idiots will change their tune when daily hunting pressure causes OK's hogs over time to become more and more nocturnal, more than likely resulting in higher population numbers thus resulting in more monetary damage to the land........
Just my take on the whole situation based off everything ya'll have posted.

i talked to a game warden last night and the way he explained it to me was you can still hunt hogs at night as long as you do not have a gun or spot light. So there for, you are still allowed to hunt them with dogs and headlamps.

Yep, you can hunt them at night with dogs. Just not spot light them in a field

What about field spotting with night optics? The units r not projecting a beam of light, just amplifying the existing ambient light, therefor a wildlife harassment charge cant be filed/ticketed. A cheap set of hand held nods costs around $300 for gen 1, possibly a lil less.
