Took the young, fledgling crows out to my deer lease in New Waverly. Been waiting al deer season to get back after them, they've been eating all my corn and making themselves right at home. Munching my corn    L to R.. Redman, Libby, Blaster, Trash Met James, Marshall and Big E around 2 at the lease. Knew there was a good group of hogs so we wanted to get the young black dogs some work. We loaded up Blaster, Trash, Lexi, Jet and Redman.. We let Libby and Drake run loose. We were gonna ride down and turn Blaster out to find em and then pour the young un's to them. We went about half mile. Looked down to see where drake and lib were, they were treed 300 or so back down the road. Ran in to the them and they were walking around the plantation caught on this sow   Turned all the pups to them anf drake rolled off. An hour or so later, the pups started trickling in as well as Drake finally. We went down a little further and dropped blaster with all the young un's and they struck out. They were hunting good, everything split with Blaster grinding and falling bayed about 300 yards out while 700 yards further in Drake & the rest of the young crows were bayed! Turned Redman loose and blaster had a real big hog bayed and a 50#'er of course the cd and blaster caught the lil one which happened to be a Barr hog I had cut back in the fall all healed up. James and Marshall went on to the dogs while I drug the little one out. They got there and Drake, Libby, Trash, Lexi and Jet had a 225# Barr hog caught in the creek. Marshall got him caught. Drake will be out for a while but everything else turned out fine. Enjoy!!    L to right Trash, Jet, Lexi, Blaster... Trash and Lexi are littermates out of Blaster, an outcross with my old Fawn dog. Jet is line bred EXTREMElY tight and Is As good a 9 month old as I've seen.  |

Thanks everyone.. Just glad to be back in the woods some! Good job Tony! Those black dogs look like they are naturals.
They are Jared lol. After the last Barr we were ready to get out of there before dark. 3 of the black pups decided to make them another round. We finally got em caught. Excited to see how these are gonna turn out with all the hogs this spring |

No sir.. Just my yellow dog Drake not pictured and that leopard gyp Libby. She came from Caughtandhobbled, Bennie, and doesn't show much signs of backing up unless it's a big boar hog. |
