Put in about 7 or 8 hours of riding time over the last 3 days.  Man, this gal is awesome.  She is a beast in the timber.  I really had no idea what to expect when I took off into the woods with her but she travels as well in the woods as she does in a wheat field.  She just ducks her head a little finds an opening and bulldozes straight ahead.

I have yet to shoot within her hearing to gauge her sensitivity to the gun.  She is not on bit squirrelly around the dogs.  My wife's schnauzer ran  up to her yesterday.  I held my breath, as I fully expected to see the dog get punted into the neighbors yard.  She never picked up a foot and the dog was sniffing her hocks of the back end.  SO far, so good!!  After that introduction, I will bring my dogs around her and start making their acquaintances.

Here's a couple more pics of some good looking black ass Grin  Look at the tip of the dogs tail, and you'll she her checking out the puppy training session.

That's all bird dog.  She's a year old and I was working her on some pigeons.  We got a bay pen finished this week-end.  We'll get to work some young hog dogs as soon as we can catch or get a smaller hog and I can't wait!
