Finally got to get out in the woods again!!! Took all the pups out on a mock, and they ended up in the bottom of a creek. Lol! Grin Jeffrey and EricTBH's brother Ray got down their to work it out. All in all, I think it was a very productive day.

(dogs left to right) Pistol, Dixie, and Parker on the hog.

Here is a little video...

Wish I could have made it! Raising and training those pups is by far one of the most rewarding experiences that I have had and it sounds like they all did real good.

Yes sir brother!!! They all did great! Joe couldn't have been more happy about Dixie! You should have seen her wind that hog from almost 300 yards out and sound off. She runs like the wind! Pistol is one helofva dog too! She is gritty as all get out, and no quit to her. Parker and Pistol were the first ones to follow the hog down to the bottom of the creek. I guess dixie finally go tired of being left out and got down there too. It was good stuff, and we diff missed you out there yesterday bro! We'll get another one together sometime this week.

Thanks Camo! That's not all of em... LOL! Just who we decided to take out that day. Would have liked to run more, but have other things that need doing as well. Wish I could be in the woods 16 hours a day!!! the rest I would sleep and play with my daughter and wife!!!  Grin

Hey man... I couldn't have gone anyways. Jeff was kinda bumbed out, but I lifted his spirits by getting a mock together... Plus all the pups did great. Joe's cat Dixie is prolly gona turn out... Plus Parker is a force to reconed with. Pistol, well, there isn't much you can say about her other than she is a natural, and is gona turn out to be one he!! of a dog. We'll get together and run em down soon enough!

Joe has got him a really good up and commer with her.... just sucks she is spayed. I couldn't believe she winded that hog from 300 yards and hauled butt straight to her. She even beat Pistol there to find it... She is a little loose, but gritty, and I like that. I think she'll start hammering down the more hogs she gets on.

Lol! I wouldn't know... You'd have to ask Jeffrey about that. I wanted to, bit it's kinda hard to jump down to a creek bottom and brave yourself with one arm. So I helped where I could and kinda coached and supervised mostly! I'll tell you what though, I've got a great crew of friends to help this crippled out! Jeffrey does work!!! Grin

Congrats on a good training hunt, but looks like it might have gotten it little slippery in that side of that creek bank

LOL! For Jeff and Ray, yes it did... I was just waiting to see one slip and fall into the creek... But thanks uglydog, it was a blast and I'm ready to do it again.
