My bull dog dislocated his jaw just to make an awful night worse, we got a horse at the vet getting observed with a potential colic so when we go here I'n a bit I'm taking him so the vet can look at It, but i would sure like some input from yal. Everything i read says it's a simple fix at the vet.

With the one bulldog I had that broke his jaw had it fixed let it heal for three months like the vet told me after he caught two small hogs no problem then he caught a good sow and his jaw broke again right by the old break took to a different vet had it fixed again now he's a yard dog hope your dog heals up good and is able to catch again

Well sorry alot of typos
He is probably going to be a yard dog and occasional puppy trainer from now on, he lost both canines on the right side, and I'm hearing alot of bad news on others dogs rebreaking so he will get to be a good old dog. It was the last two inches that broke off so i think it would just be to big of a risk to hunt him any more. I will say the vet was really amazed by old jokers handle and niceness when they were messing arround I'n his mouth with no sedation...

Had the same thing happen to a catahoula of mine. Had to spoon feed him soft food for a few weeks and then switched back to hard food gradually. Keep an eye on him though on the hard food we lost that cat 6 months later. Found him dead one morning in his pen......choked to death I knew he struggled with eating since he broke it but i figured he'd be fine. I was wrong.
