I really like the "camp fire" thing. I've been wanting to make a grill for the fire pit for several years. With the help of some buddies, I was able to get the materials for free. I'll end up giving them some wild pork as a big thank you. My buddy Steve stayed after work one day to weld up the frame and grill. Another friend built up the post and adjustment bar. I don't weld, but gave it everything I had to finish it up. A couple cans of black BBQ spray paint, and I now have my grill. I can pull it up and take it on some of my camping trips.  Tonight I'm having over some friends and family to break it in. My 2 year old daughter helped me all day gathering wood for the shindig. Let's get this party started.

Total pit. The grill can spin 360 degrees to load meat.

very nice! looks good, bet it cooks better, do you have another rod from the pit to the ground to help stablize the other side?

Nope. I rod in ground. Worked very well tonight.

Ok I seen the other pics they weren't showing up for me at first.. Glad to hear it worked out for ya. Nice piece
