It's what I think I want. Little different. But should have what it takes if use a RCD or  possible baydog?

Buddy of mine has one, straight catch, and he has some hunt in him. He winded this boar from the Ranger with the cur dogs. He is the darker red dog on the ear. Pretty good dog, I like the cross.

I used to catch hogs with only one dog and he was a purebred airedale...back in 1981-83 or so. he found and bayed them but if a hog broke and ran he would catch it by the ear and stop it if it was under 150 pounds... he was 55 pounds and an old man sold him to me...said folks didn't know what a good airedale was anymore...hunted 5 or six since that dog...The large oorang mtn type (Quachita, Mooreland) I liked crossed with a good standard type.

but honestly, an airedale needs to be trimmed and a mtn cur hunts better and a pit bull catches better...but an airedale cross with pitbull should be a very good cross. A friend of mine made this one and he liked them better that pits or airedales..said they were ugly but good dogs...

I know an old man near Hope Arkansas that has some. He says  they are hard catching dogs but nobody but him can handle them without getting bit.

The quachitas airedales were in Mena Arkansas from the 1940's to about 2000...

Well heck, somebody must have a pit that we could breed if we can find the right Airdale Stud.I will furnish the $ . We could put them out and keep track of them. Would like the female to be white or big spots.
Could be the first CDs bred on ETHD. You would think Ugly Dog would have to be in on it.
