This hog has outran us 3 times and did a D@mn good job of it. He has cost us quiet a few hours of sleep over the last 2 months. Shawn has called me every day (sometimes twice a day) to remind me of how much he hates this hog and how sorry all our dogs are. We bayed him twice the first time we ran him but he broke before the bulldogs got there. He stopped again at about .75 mile and Lop got there and caught but we couldn't get to them in time. Well last night I guess he had started gettin cocky (which I don't blame him) and he messed up and stood there long enough for that Lop headed dog to get to him again but this time he had Snowman and Kalevra and Rufus right behind him and they were not there to play...    |

Ran him 16 miles the first time.. I didnt think he would run at all but he proved he could and would..
He had about 4000 acres of thick nasty stuff to do as he pleased in..

He won't go 450. We Caught one 2 years ago that was 412 and this hog is a little smaller than that one was.
This one has the thickest shield of any hog I've ever seen though.

That's amazing you wouldnt think that one that big would run that far, but I believe it!! Some of them don't get big by being dumb. Congratulations, that is a monster with an even better story. I will guess 390 range. Congrats again to the good dog work |

ok I will say 420 then  what ever he weighs it is a jim dandy of a hog. Congrats on getting him caught. what about some pics of the dogs responsible for the catch? |
