It use to really piss me off when my dogs caught these rats ,until now .these nutria are tearing up our wet lands bad ,so the wildlife and fish decided a few years back to do something ,every land owner can have a partner and they give you a trapping card to be able to sell the rats 5 bucks per tail and if you wanted to skinem some people by the body for 3 bucks .usually we ride and or walk the marsh and Chootem after a few weeks of being shot at the are scared to death of a boat sooooooo I decided to take to dogs along and that was a good idea 1 man on the bank w dogs to go to dogs after they caught and one man in the bayou w a gun for the ones running out when the dogs go threw after a few hrs this is the result

Can't beat that, have you tried eating any nutria rat yet?

now that looks like it might have to challenge Chance Wards rat pile, cause pound for pound I think your rat pile wins!

yes you have to cook it slow like a rabbit it taste almost just like a rabbit
