went out yesterday morning with my buddy josh for a hunt around the forest we had seen tracks early on but none that looked that fresh so we left my dog on the chain. rode around a little more and started heading up to my other property just before we got there i was looking around then all the sudden josh tapped me on the shoulder and said a pig just run across the road . so i sped up a little and all the sudden two more run passed then another three or four none of them looked that big so i threw my knife to josh and said its your turn we let my dog off he he sped right off the pigs had about a minute head start on us but it didnt matter . we ran a fair way in the bush when we finally heard my dog on the pig so we ran towards the noise but we got off course some how and ended up runnig about 200 metres further than we needed we realised the noise was back behind us now so we run back a bit and finally found the dog and pig when we got closer the pig finally spuealed he could of done that earlier lol . after a bit of running around a bit more trying to catch the hog josh finally got it and i told him how to stick it and he done it like a pro first go and the pig died straight after. the pig wasnt big he was only 30kg (66lb) but it was a good size to teach josh how to stick a pig on.

Nice little people trainer , did he skin it and put it on the pit yet??? he skins pigs with me all the time hipockets and i made him skin that one himself lol because he caught it . he hasnt put one on a spit yet because we dont cook them on a spit that often . what we do is fill a bath with boiling water and put the pig in there and drag a knife along it to get the hair off then we pull it outta the boiling water and put it on a old bed frame over a fire its sort of the same as a spit but just a bit different but he hasnt done that yet either lol. thanks for the comments.
