Had a dog get a little poke in the ribs the other
Night
I didn't even think he was cut
Just thought he had blood from the pig on him. A dew days later he had a big soft knot on his side and there was a small scab onto knot... It's been about 5 days and now the knot is kinda hard and hasn't gotten any smaller... Could it be a hernia or just and infection ?

If its on the cut probably infection or fluid build up because the outside healed before the inside did give antibiotics and lance it should be fine after that

x2, you need to lance it, squeeze it and make sure you get all that fluid out, leave the wound open and give him a shot of penicillin. I give 2 cc to a 50 lb dog 3 days in a row.
