1/2 Plott 1/8 Ridgeback 1/8 Whippet 1/4 Cur

Raised him from a pup, rough as hell at first didn't think he'd make it past two.  He's backed up to a true bay dog now, but will catch smaller hogs.  Hunts 300-400 yards out but will go over a mile on good sign or running hogs.  He has his faults like all dogs do, but has turned into a real solid dog for me and will outstrike my lead dog about 25% of the time.

Now that's a mixture worth trying out.

Not much at all.  If he's barking he's looking.  He'll open briefly if they break.

Kennels clean, water buckets clean and with fresh water, dogs in excellent shape---SIR you represent hog hunters well in these images for those who see, I tip my hat to you.
