FRIDAY AT CHEROKEE WMA. YOU ARE A COWARD AND AND LOWEST OF THE LOW. THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR SLUGS LIKE YOURSELF. MY DOG WAS WEARING A TRACKING COLLAR AND A CUT VEST AND WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT A STRAY. YOU KILLED MY BEST DOG AND A GOOD FRIEND. YOU PUT A HOLE IN MY KENNEL THAT WILL BE HARD TO FILL. YOU PUT TEARS IN THE EYES OF MY BOY. SO I GUESS ITS PROBABLY BEST FOR THE BOTH OF US YOU ARE A COWARD.

dang im sorry that happened...im always scared someone will do that to me and my dogs. if it ever did happen the people sure better hope i wouldnt find them.

sorry about your dog , I know a guy that had the same thing happen to him in the same area about a month ago [ andy white ], tracked his dog down a road to find it shot in the ditch with all its equip. on , very low life , if it matters what goes around comes around it will catch up to these thugs sooner or later ,

IVE HUNTED CHEROKEE FOR 15 YEARS AND ITS THE FIRST TIME IVE HAD THIS HAPPEN. HAVENT TALKED TO ANDY IN A WHILE. IT JUST SENSELESS

Sorry for your loss Mr Barnes. That is a totally senseless act. I especially hate to hear that this happened at Cherokee. My buddies and I have turned loose there several times and wouldnt have thought this to be an issue. Right now nothing is really in season and there is really no reason to even have a gun there, except for predator hunting maybe. Did you contact the warden or area manager about this and if so what did they have to say? This makes me think twice about running dogs down there.
Once again sorry for the loss.

DRIFTERS NOT ABLE TO FILL THOSE SHOES. HES COMIN ALONG, FINALLY OFF THE DEER! HIS BIG WEAKNESS RIGHT NOW IS HE WILL GET OUT 1000YDS OR SO, AND BARK LOST. BUT I THINK I CAN GET HIM OFF THAT. |

I hate to hear that this happened to you. I had the same happen to me last year lost 2 good dogs to a rifle. I'm glad I had good friends because if I would have kept persuing the person who killed them I would be in prison.Stay strong and I hope end up with another great dog.
