i thought the bay pens used a 10 point system . howed the dog get 19.7 . not saying anything , i am not a bay pen kinda guy but getting older and thinking about competing . i thought i had the scoring figured out . but now i am confused , wich is the way i am most of the time . it's hell gettin old   Grin  Grin

o tay i see i thought they was all the same . i need to get off my but and get down there one of these days and bay some pups . met mike at an nalc bay seemed like a heck of a feller .  he won big time with that little chopper dog that year .

I have his litter mate brother to. Gritty dogs. Getting ready to start them in the woods. Any advice?

i use hog hide drags to start em out . that way you can watch em and see whats going on usuall put a shoat out in a hidden cage and drag a trail towards it and stand back and watch . few times gettin that down on their own and there ready to rock .

I drug one out in the woods couple hundred yards and they watched me but didnt see where i took it, cut em loose(8 months old) and the went right to it and caught. They are 11m now and still trying to catch 300 Lb boars. Anything i can do about that? Or they just gonna stay gritty like that?

Pearsall was a 20 point system as well they had a great bay there sure wish they would start back up

gonna need a bad pig, they get slung off and hit enough they'll get the idea and back up! Grin
