We are finding out here that hogs have been brought from everywhere and let loose. It depends where you hunt. We have caught some black and white spotted ones, red ones, and black ones.

They'd farrow out and then breed back to one of the cold blooded boars running loose out there. And in no time the little guilts would be breeding to those cold blooded boars as well. The hog population would explode after a year or so. A man would have to hunt all the time to try and keep them under control. What a shame.  |

Run mostly plotts, have a good Black and Tan thats out of a good Bear Dog line and my catch dog is half plott half pit. We dont have to wait to let her off the lead, when my buddies plott struck we let her loose and she knows to follow them out. They caught that hog 780 yards out. |
