Does anyone else on here like their pits to be light weight with longer legs. If so is there a LINE OF DOGS LIKE THIS.

the type I would cross with a cold nosed cur or a good hound...at some point I would like to cross one of these type pit bulls with a good mtn cur.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

me to. i think i got a plan for a cross that hasn't been tried yet might even make a new breed of dog like a pittbull but more athletic and slimmer. I think their size is over kill for hogs. they maybe were bred for bigger animals. I have a cur catahoula cross smaller dog for the breed That will drag the hog toward me. She grabs pigs that i cant believe she feels confident enough to grab without another dog that catches hard. What is more amazing is that she can drag them. they may be rough at first but she stays latched and pretty soon they wear down a little and she will start pulling em toward me. I think i want one that will catch hard but i don't think they need any more power than the average dog I would rather replace that extra muscle with agility I just want that reliable bite of the pit.

I would think a boxer crossed with a pit would make the dog ur looking for. Cull all the pups with boxer heads and the rest should be good. I crossed boxer with bmc and made good RCD. A boxer body with pit head would be awesome dog Ihave the athletic boxer dog that has already thrown proven RCDs if anyone has the female pit nd wants to try let me know

Most of the game bred lines are a leaner built dogs. I'm catchin with a Blackjack/LG cross that is 52# and pretty big for his line but is pretty fast. He's still green but got lots of want to. Dogman, that isn't some XXX stuff is it?

Great looking pit dogmas.. I have a solid white am pit that's exactly Wut ur trying to breed for. He was a inside couch potato for two yrs when my cousin had to move and asked if I wanted him and I said id hive him a shot.. Wut better way then throw him in a pen with a 250# boar .. he got tossed in the air about seven foot twice but I think it his made him mad cuz he found the ear and made big boy scream! He's long legged and has a big blocky head. In the open he can't be bet only downfall is in very thick brier patches, his face and front legs get cut pretty bad from thorns but it doesn't slow him down the , he jus bulldozes right through it lol... the cd ur looking for is out there, jus b patient and keep a look out. I live in rusk and I've seen alot of pit jus like mine...
