What color bag does everyone think is the best?? Or is there another brand that's better for around the same money?? Just want the way for my dogs

We started feeding the black bag. It's got a higher fat content and the dogs look great and are hunting great. Not alot of number 2 either so better digestibility.

Black bag is what I've been feeding the past couple of weeks I think I'll stick with it for now. Seems terra quiet a bit of folks that are satisfied with it

I agree, seems like I have less clean up per blue bag of feed. when I use the blue bag I add a tablespoon of used cooking oil/bacon grease to boost up the fat content. |

I just bought a blue bag of sportmix. Its 26/18 I think. I am just taking it out for a test drive, I usually feed the black bag 24/20.
First thing I noticed, is the lack of price difference. I read somewhere on here that the blue bag was cheaper. If it was, it was only a dollar or so. Secondly, the chunks are MUCH smaller than black bag, the dogs didn't really know what to think about it. My pit/cur gyp flipped it out and ate if off the ground for some reason. She never did this with the black bag...
And, lastly... This hacked me off a bit... The bag I bought said 10lbs free! I didn't really read the bag (fine print) And when I got home, I was reading the bag and it said 50lbs at a 40lb price. The dang bag is supposed to be 50lbs!! I payed a 50lb bag price, I expected 50lbs PLUS 10lbs FREE dammit!!!!!Why are they trying to fool everyone, and why is a 40lb bag starting to be the norm??
Who all else is not falling for this 40lb bag bullcrap and has switched brands? What did you switch to?

Are there that many women out there who cannot lift 50lbs, don't have a husband, son or nephew that owns and hunts her own working dogs that the company decided to drop only 10lbs off the bag weight. Sounds like a giant can of bullspit to me... We sell sportsmix at our feed store and feed the blue.

It's still a good feed though, all of my dogs have always done great on it and my grandfather has been feeding it for more than 12 years
