Well my little one just turned 3 in December and she loves to go with me to do stuff a lot, so today I ask her if she would like to go coon hunting with me and her grandpa (my dad) and she said well yeah ,so she help me get the hounds ready collars on loaded up and met my dad about a mile from my house, it didn't take long before my walker male and dads blue tick gyp to strike one and the race was on my walker come down treed about a half mile, in then all the dogs rolled in to tree , the sound was music to the ears because this would be her first dog hunting trip ever and a good time could lead to more dog hunts in the future, eventually hog dogging I hope, got my fingers crossed. She loved it and has been talking about it all night and says she is ready to go again so that's always good news. I snapped a few shots with my phone so hope thay ain't to dark to see, I'm really glade she liked the dog hunting its been in my family along time and hope it stays. Thanks for taking time to read this I know its not hogs but when your three you have to start sometime.

Hey man I think that's great. Spend as much time with her as you can. Them years go by fast and before you know it she will be all grown
up. I bet she got all excited when them hounds opened up.

Very cool... just put my own daughter to bed after packin' gear for the morning's hunt... still baffles me how much she seems to love it...  Grin

Definitely makes you hunt slower taking the little ones... which isn't always a bad thing  Wink

Lol o my good friend Myles with friends like you who need enemies,  you tell Ol Jr he better stay back!  I seen the way them too shared chocolate milk in Arkansas and it scared the hell out of me.  Undecided Besides you don't want them together thay would taint your line with a walker hound lol  Grin

My girls are 2 and 5 and I love to read post like these. I dedicate all of my life to them and their mom. I wish I coon hunted so I could take them. I would love to get them in the woods with dogs, but hogs would not be a great start at that age.
