I want to build a decent bay pen for personal use and starting young dogs.What would be a good size dimensions and height ?Best materials to build it out of? Seems like the new guy always have questions needing answers.

Bump id like some input as well. Im building one at the house and was planning on 32x48 but would like to hear what sizes yall have

Roberts got the right idea for puppies and a soft hog. If your talkin about keepin a rank Boar and older dogs, maybe training for competition, then you need more room. Dog has to have room to move. Better competition pens are 50 X 50 or better.

Thanks Guys. I think I may go with a bigger pen may want to try some of them competition dogs in the future looks like alot of fun.
