we all meet up at 4:30 AM at the fire department for check in , craig and waddy brought two horses and JR and steve [bay dogs] and a white bull dog , I brought camo and candy [ bay dogs]  marvin had taco and two bull dogs  tank and coco , dowel brought the camara man that was jonny on the spot , we had ATVs and were the first ones there , checked in  talked to the wardens and out we go , the first spot we went was were we seen hogs two days ago and fresh sign all around , we had a hour to wait till official day light , had garmin problems , dogs excited barking , we let out and made some big circles and never found them , it was a big let down , I think they heard the dogs and left the country I dont know ,  we loaded up and went to spot #2  and nothing , its around noon , we arrived at the third spot and parked in mega hog sign , we headed out and was bayed a few hundred yards from the truck , we kept the bulldogs in the ATVs and had everyones dogs in 5 garmins , we let the bull dogs loose and a large group of hogs run everywhere , I run in the thicket and try to grab a hog and taco and camo the bay dogs had him cauhgt I was thinking oh crap dont let go , he was around 270 , waddy stabbed one just standing beside him thinking it was hiding that took off and caught another sow , after that it was a race dogs bayed all over  , we was blocked by a fence  and killed three hogs there , craig and waddy crossed on the horse and were going to drag a sow out me and marvin killed and got on another boar and headed out about a mile with steve and JR  , by the time we got her out and made it back to the ATVs  loaded up the dogs it had been awhile , I bet the dogs have been bayed over a hour and we knew craig and waddy were there watching so we just let the catch dogs loose several hundred yards out ,  the hog broke and I could see craig 700yrds in a pipeline haulin a$$ on his horse to help the dogs out , I was done and couldnt keep up thinking please dont cull me LOL   it turned out to be a nice hog  , we had 3 boars my first barr and two sows 6 total   gutted 724lbs  biggest hog gutted 212lbs  and won biggest stringer and biggest hog, was a pleasure to hunt with this crew , good freinds and good memories , thanks

Very nice men!  Looks like a good cold/wet hunt!  Did the tourny pay out cash or trophies?

we got 600 bucks we had a blast , Im pretty sore and also the dogs

  everthing went our way all day long.

 JR had traveled 41.8 miles at the end of the day, and i feel like i did too. we all pushed our dogs and our selves to the limit.

another sucessfull hunt with good freinds it just dont get any better then that.

some of my buds put acouple teams together and hunted the tourny in ada ,pauls valley .they came in 4th and 5th out of 18 teams.they said there were some hogs chittin corn that some of the teams turned in Grin

well I wanted to go but I'm in the Blake cranbarry hunt in Texas this weekend its an all weekend 24/7 hunt so I need all the dogs I got, couldn't afford to have a dog layed up if you no what I mean. But congratulations on your win sounds like y'all earned it.
