i have been talking to a few friends and houndsman about tring to get a oklahoma hog doggers association going here in oklahoma. to try and help us agains some of the laws that are being pushed thought the state house that will effect us that hunt with dogs. i would like some of ya'll imput about and what would be a reasonable price for a membership a year. thanks for all of ya'll that took time to read this

i feel if we as dog hunters don't do something to turn the people that are againest us hunting with dogs we will be doing the same thing as the chicken fighters. as big numbers as hunters if we come together as one we can get more done, than one or two of us tring to get things done. so ya'll that have seen this past it on too other hunts and have them give any input that will help i work in the oil field and, iam not around the computer all the time so here is me number 918-470-5992. call me with any information or question and i will try to answer them. once again thanks and lets come together to become one against the one that hate are sport.

thanks guy but we have a long way to go. but the more that we pull together the more we can get done. fighting for are rights as other try to take them away pass the word on to other hunters and houndsman. thanks guys i will keep ya'll posted on updates. still need to know what ya' ll thank is a fair price for a year membership.

I am all for supporting an orginization like this in Oklahoma. I would recommending contacting some of the people from the THDA or LSWDA who are members of this forum for any advice and to get it going in the right direction. I think the memeber Silverton Boar Dogs is the TDHA pres, I bet he would have some advice on how to get an organization going and what all needs to be done. I was once a member of the OKWDA, but their agenda had nothing to do with hunting dogs. It would be good to get something going in OK.

I'm in. have been thinking about it just no time to organize anything. As far as price $35-$100. I'm willing to pay as much as $200 a pup why not for the freedom to hunt that pup. You gotta look at smaller amount and more people or higher amount and possibly fewer people. Put me in either way

ok guys there is one thang we have to have is game, and when we start this we are going to have to do it right so please work with me. on this it is going to be slow but it will be done right and the few guys, that i have that iam working with have been around dogs a long time as well as i have. one guy travels around the world hunting dogs in different countrys.
so thanks guys I will keep you posted as we go

count me in as well. Im down in McCurtain county and their are alot of hog doggers down here. I will start rounding them up and spreading the word in this area. Just keep us updated and I will do all I can to help down in this area.

Count me in too,i want to preserve dog hunting in this state and let my kids and grandkids enjoy it as i do! I can recruit a bunch of coonhunters too around here,after all,a lot of the laws affect dog hunting in general,not just the pursuit of hogs.
