Mike's Tweety dog died last night.   She was a pleasure to hunt with. Hustle, range, bottom, you name it, she had it.

She will be missed by many, but especially by Mike Bolen, Mike Hilscher, and Matt Goodson, who are the three men that have owned and hunted Tweety throughout her life.

Not too many pics of Tweety, as she wasn't the type to hang around for a photo Wink  I did manage to find on of her at home.

Yes ....rough news for sure.   I was hoping Mike was just pulling my leg last night at first but unfortunately not....she sure put some good dogs on the ground and her blood will carry on.

RIP Tweety ....

Sorry to hear.  I hunted behind her a couple times, and she was the real deal.  Hard to even begin thinking about how to replace one like that.

Man I hate to hear that y'all! So sorry for your loss, and I pray you'll find more than just her blood pumping through the veins off her offspring, but some of her spirit as well. RIP Tweety.

Sorry to hear that. She was a special dog for sure and will surely be missed.  I sure hope a few of her offspring can reproduce as well as she did.

Thats the truth.

Not many pure bred, True pure bred dogs that contribute as much as Tweety has over the years. Not many dogs are as consistent as Tweety has been, many talk the talk but few truly walk that walk. Eventually if you breed a dog enough your going to get a few good dogs, Tweety reminded me of a xerox machine and could produce hunting dogs, her pups and grand pups can do it also and I can say I dont know many dogs in this world that can claim the resume' she has.
She started hunting at an early age and hunted right on through until the end. RIP Tweety girl, you sure had my respect for a dog and especialy for a Catahoula.
