Ok i have a gyp that i had breed to a stud male of someone elses for pic of litter..We agreed to meet with the adult dogs and he would come pick his puppy out of the litter. I drove 3 hours to pick up his dog and 3 hours to drop off his dog 2 months later when he finally had the time to meet me. He only lived 1 hour or less from where we were meeting. I lost half the litter and now have a $500 vet bill all from this litter. Now that the 4 pups left are bout ready this guy wants me to drive 3 hours to bring him his pup, FOR FREE-no delivery charge nothing. Is that right? Everytime I want a dog I do the driving, or have to pay extra for delivery charge. So shouldnt he come here to get his pup? What do yall think, Let me know Thanks

ha ha ammetuers first off my stud dog NEVER leaves my yard . somebody wants a gyp bred they bring it to me PERIOD . i keep it till my stud hooks it then they come get the gyp within a couple days . then when the pups are 6 weeks old i'll go and pick my pup . that's the way it's done . end this fiasco the best way you can and learn from it . good luck

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Make sure its understood up front before the breeding takes place.

If you cannot get him to drive and get the pup, just take him the one you want too! If I was picking a pup I would want to watch him at his home, to pick! jmo If you must take him the pup, know you did your part and call it lesson learned! You cannot worry how others conduct busisness, just no you did your part and go on.
