Long story short. A buddy is going to Texas for a canned hunt at the Candalaria Ranch. He says he really wants to have Lonestar beer. I don't rag on Lonestar but tell him to try a Shiner Bock. He thinks it's great and even tours the brewery. Heres the catch. He gets home and complains that he sure would like some more of it. I tell him about a specialty store that stocks it. Today I am feeling like a Shiner Bock, but they are sold out. Some guy come in and bought all the had. Oh well the had a 6 pack of Abita.

Try Real Ale Brewing Company "Brewhouse Brown".

I used to like Shiner many moons ago, in past incarnations, but I shunned it for a few lifetimes.

The other day I came across Spring Ale Dortmunder Style by Shiner, and Holy Compost Pile!  That is some real swallowin' water.

Makes me want to get in the truck right now and head towards the convenient store, damned good deeds.
