Made a little round with Bryant this morning and our two pups made us proud.. Bryants Preacherman and my Blackjack dog rolled out 1.5 when the tailgate dropped and headed towards a FM road so I hauled butt in the buggy to head them off. Got within 700 yards and killed the buggy to yell them to me and heard them bayed solid.. Had to call Chance Ward to get permission to go onto a neighboring property. Chance came to give us a hand and we had 2 hogs bayed caught the spotted sow probably close to 150 lbs and the other we didnt go after because we were not on our property.. Got to hunting again and the same two pups struck another hog and the whole pack went to them and the race was on. They finally got it to stop in a creek and this creek was not on my property....   Called and got permission to go get the dogs and probably an hour and a half later we get to them still bayed. Bulldogs didnt play nice with the sow and she did not make it out of the creek alive. Great hunt with the pups.

Love to hear about the young ones turning the crank. Very cool. One word of advise though, never trust a politician. Mr.Ward was only looking for a "YES" vote.  Grin

Not me. Sounds like something Metzger would do though. I just bathe in Adam's Flea and Tick. Works like a charm.  Wink

Well first off, thanks Peaches.....I had a dang good time and I got more exitement outa them pups getting it done on a coupple sows than grown dogs catching 5 monsters. That Preacher man young dog of mine doing that made my month and im sure Travis was equally happy with his Black jack dog. Just as happy with the second one as well as the young dogs stuck with her and that hour and a half bay, real proud of my little Ms Kitty from Jessie stuck with this one also.

And the bulldogs I bred myself and the little gyp (mine) these were her 2nd and 3rd hogs in the woods, the male, Travis's has caught a but load and a lot of big ones as well but all in all for me it was a great day.

A big thanks to Chance for dropping what he was doing to come help us get access to the first hog as well as helping tie, drag and load her. Thanks a bunch Chance.

Now to the tree.....no need to make fun cause I am too smart to go bailing off in the water with no need ha ha I was going to cross that tree and slide down the oposite side bank and grab the hog as there really was no hurry since she was pretty much done and no dogs were getting hurt. Besides....I didn't want to mess up my new boots  Grin
