Wait until it completely heals, if not he could bust it open more or another hog could stick him and could be a lot worse the next around. JMO

Drop speedup the process use some cut heal.. I use blue lotion in an aerosol can.. but there is alot to choose from.. I've seems cuts 3" long to the bone that healed up rly fast.. but he does need to rest. And of he's on a chin it could but it open even worse.

Get you some liquid cut and heal and mix with water soluble suffer. Be sure and give it a penicillin shot every couple d as y's. This will heal him up quick I'd use hydrogen periods daily and pack the wound with the cut heal and sulfur it will work pretty quick..good luck

God bless and miracles happen. The old way is still the best way. Let a dog open every once in awhile. Want hurt a thing.

Our best strike dog got played open same way we staples it up and it keep coming undone so about 5 days after it happened I got a new carpet needle and sowing string and sprayed everything with bedidine and gave him 8 stitches sprayed it with blue lotion and 5 days later started hunting him again never had a problem healed up perfect and he where's a vest. Just my personal experience. Don't know if it helps
