I bought a pair ad catahoula litter mates from an older man the other day. They are a couple months over a year old, one male and one female. I was looking at the female a couple of days ago And I believe she is pregnant. The only male she has been around her whole life is her brother lol. So my question is what do I do? Dispose of them when they are born or keep them? I've never had a litter of in bred puppies so I don't know what to expect. What is your opinion?

Vet can can give Med to terminate litter. Cull before they are born.

I have heard if you give them the shot it will sometimes ruin them and they will never be able to have puppies. Is that true?

I guess I will let her have them and if they act fine I may keep them. If they act deaf or blind ill cull them. Anybody interested in a puppy? Lol

I did not want to do the shot either. I also heard that if you take the pups as they are born the dog may never want to hunt again. You dod what you got to do it is your dog.
