This is my pack...

This is T. She is turning 18 this year, and is the matriarch. She does not hunt but has done her fair share of herding. I wish she did hunt though. In her hay day I bet she would have made a dog.

These guys are (l-r) Mason and Kato. Parker cur x Mason cat. They are about 5 months old, and high hopes for these guys.

This is Diablo. He now has 3 legs and will be returning to the woods in a week or two. Cur/cat/pit is what I was told. He is a good gritty dog, and short-med range.

This is PJ. She is my new Amerigo Pup. High hopes for her as well.

This is ol' Joe. He is a good dog, and is really independent. Going to keep him around a while and see what he can do. He is only 17 months. He is 3/4 BMC x 1/4 July.

This is Baus. He is a 5 year old APBT. He is a great anchor, and took to hunting really well.

This is Fred. He is cur/cat/plott and one helluva dog. He is my lead dog, and I hope the pups start following his lead.

And I am ready as ever to make the Fred x Soka (blakebh) cross for some pups to start...

Zig/Soka pups are with other people. There were "yard complications" when they were born, so I didn't pick one up. I almost got one, but had to "arrange" LOL!  Angry Sucks, but like I said, Fred/Soka are gona make a good cross I think.

Yes, a good boar got him in the rear. It severed the nerve that runs down his back right leg. He couldn't feel it and started chewing on it. I tried three rounds of steroids, three different types of antis, and lots of TLC... He still wasn't using it, and it stated getting bad, so I had to make the decision to do that or put him down. I think I made the right choice, and I think he'll be fine in the woods again. Grin

even if he doesn't make it in the woods it better than what it got to... His leg got bad... And I was doing everything in my power to not have get it cut off. He eventually started chewing on it because he couldn't feel it, and that was really bad! So I would say if you have a good vet near you that the dog needs it gone if he/she can't feel it. If you do not feel that the dog has the heart to make it through something like that put it down... Because I can tell you from personal experience, it takes a lot of TLC and time to get a dog healed up from something like that, mentally and physically. He has a extremely high pain tolerance, and has a very high drive so I made the decision to do the op. this time I think it was good choice. Grin

thanks Black Hog! And Krystal, Fred is from Jimmy Creed. There is post on here about him and me saying thanks to Jimmy for him... From what I've been told... Jimmy picked up this whole litter, and they all made pretty good dogs... But Fred and one other female are the only surviving litter mates out of the whole litter. He is supposedly cat/cur/plott, but by the looks of him he is more cur x cat. JMO and I will post some more pics of them when I can get time to take em. My camera has been hijacked by Blake, so gotta get it back first. Lol!

Thanks guys. Randy_P bred Joe. His Ace (RIP) was the sire. He needs to be in the woods and on more hogs, but he shows good sign of turning on. He is independent, and I like that. I need another med-long range strike dog to back up Fred.
