I just wanted to rant a little bit about buying snuff. In high school, and what little college I went to, I dipped Timberwolf. It was a good length moist, nice flavor and I think around 1.75 a can. I switched to Copenhagen while in the Corps, because they would send us cases of it for free. Since then, the prices have jumped up so much, that I have decided to find another brand.
I had a good start on Grizzly. It was similar to the Timberwolf from my past, and everything was going good until it seemed that they changed the recipe or something. It started to be very sharp tasting and would hurt my gums.
I tried Copenhagen wintergreen when it first came out and was reasonably priced, and liked it. All the way until they decided to charge full Cope price for it.
I found Husky to be a good snuff, but it is hard as crap to find.
Have anyone found a sure nuff good cheap snuff to dip? Like a consistently good, reasonably priced, consistent flavor, can doesn't break snuff in East Texas?

Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat. RAdm. "Jay" R. Stark, USN; 10 November 1995

Give it up, you'll never regret it. I quit 4 years ago after 30 years of dipping. FREEDOM is what I have now, and more money in my pocket. My health is better and my throat and mouth don't hurt anymore.

I started dipping Copenhagen when I was 10 years old. I quit 4 years ago when I turned 46. That was 36 years. I quit cold turkey. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I am glad to have kicked the very addictive habit. Very few people have the will power to quit dipping. That chit rules your life. I found myself on many occasions driving to town late at night to buy Copenhagen because I couldn't wait until morning to get it. It was always in the back of my mind that I might get cancer from dipping. I felt I had cheated cancer for 36 years and it was time to quit. I threw my can out the truck and never looked back.

Makes it worse when you figure out how much money you spit on the ground in a year. My habbit cost me over 4k a year. I should invest stocks in copenhagen.

Copenehagen was always my favorite back when it was 80 cents a can. Switched around some to get away from high cost and ended up with red seal. I love to dip snuff. Done it since I was a kid. Would like to do it till they kick dirt in the hole they lay me down in for eternity. I just up and quit last friday and I aint going through this twice. Not knocking it as I surely have enjoyed it but it will sure be nice being free of it finally.

Copenhagen Dollar a dip is not to much. If I got the jingle. If I don't I'll be getting some.
