Me and a few friends took the horses out for a little ride with intentions of ropin a few hogs. We got on a wad of them in a dried up marsh, and most a them beat us to the fence line. A little pited boar hog stayed in the marsh and we got after him. Couldnt get a rope on him for the 8 foot tall dog fennels, so I took a page out of cwards book and ran him over til he stopped. Then I just dove onto him! And now he is a Barr!

Pics in a few!

Great looking coloration on that barr. I want to hunt on horseback myself one day. City Councilman Ward painted a great pic of it. I want to experience it for myself. Very cool that you got to give it a whirl. Was he dazed when you pounced on him?  What were your friends reactions?

There is No other way than horse back I love it. We hunted the tdha horse back.  The Jack Russell was our catch dog. We never run out of wind ride the horses and step right off on the hog. Dragging is slot easier too.

nice, i dont know how many times i have wished that i had a horse to be hunting off of, seems like it would make it a lot easier at times. i have seen some guys fly through the palmettos on horses. i didnt think that they could go through em that quick.
