One thing that I did was to put a 4 inch slope on the concrete form when I built it. When I wash down my pens they are dry in minutes.
The dogs feet stay dry all of the time. I think this helps with their pads somewhat.

nice pens  jimco yah i got the hole slope thing down already got the forms set i set it at a 5 i was wonting to getter done its just to wet and the way its looking im not going to do it next week either cuz we have a chance for rain
let rain i say them pens can wate i m make 5'16 pens so it will be nice when its done no more holes every where

Drew, if you pour the slab yourself, rent a bull float and try for a slick finish. Avoid putting a broom finish. It will clean up so much faster with the slick finish. jmo

got you on that man i finish concrete lol not for aliving anymore tho thank god i still do it alot thats what my dad does
