We went out and hunted a wheat field today in 40 mph winds. I was worried about the dogs being able to find anything but after a hour or so we heard a bay. As we got closer it sounded like it was coming from the inside of this empty hay barn and it was. Caught a nice sow and called it a day.

Here's the barn walking up to the bay

Heres the catch

That's a heck of a place to catch a hog. nice catch.  As far as hunting in the wind we, seem to do better when the wind is blowing like crazy. Not sure why but it has worked that way for us but our honey hole is real hilly and the wind is always blowing there.

Nice!   There is a old pole barn on one of the properties that I hunt that is nearly overgrown with veg.  When weather is bad the hogs sometimes will get in it as well.  Always meant to try and make one huge trap out of it but never got around to it.
