I am sorry to hear the sad news.  It is never easy to lose a good dog.  Good memories will live on.
Hopefully there is a young dog out there somewhere that is waiting on you and your son to take him/her hunting.

Sorry to hear of your loss       It is hard enough to loose a good hunting dog but to loose a dog that is a all around family dog that belongs to your son is even harder.  Hunting has good moments and bad one too, I guess it is a hard lesson learned that nothing is forever.  I pray the Lord will walk with your son and ease the pain of losing his friend.  RIP Bella

Damn Clint, I am really sorry for your loss.  I have hunted so much with that dog that she was considered part of our pack.  Her and Dusty were a jam up team!  My heart goes out to Big T, but if there is one kid that I know is tough enough to handle it, it is him.

I sure hate that you lost a good dog but am glad your boy got the chance to get the hog that caused the pain. I know it will never replace the dog but your boy wanting to get the hog at such a traumatic time shows a lot about what he is made of and you and your wife should be proud to have raised such a courageous young man. RIP Bella
